Biography

Years of questioning how we measure health and what it means to be healthy ignited my desire to become a Chiropractor. I’ve always had a keen interest in health and the human body, and in better understanding the nature of injury and pain. Following my degree in Biological Sciences, I completed a Masters in Chiropractic at the renowned McTimoney College of Chiropractic in Abingdon, Oxford.
I understand the ever increasing stresses and strains of life can cause our bodies to lose their way. Anything from poor posture to mental and physical trauma can have long lasting effects on our bodies. The body has the power to heal itself, sometimes it just needs gentle assistance – and that’s where I come in – my aim is to give the power back to my patients.
I’m interested in applying a holistic approach, which allows us to look at the bigger picture for improving movement and restoring the body’s normal function. Pain is debilitating and can have profound effects on both physical and mental health. Vast research shows that pain is complex and dynamic, both in origin and experience. Thus, I believe individually-tailored treatments and treating the whole body, not just the site of pain, is essential for success. I’ve seen first-hand the positive impact this holistic, musculoskeletal approach can have on people of all age groups.
